My sweet baby boy is growing too fast! 2 months old already. I can hardly believe it. At his 2 month appointment he weighed 11 pounds 13 ounces!! That was a big jump from his 1 month check-up where he weighed 9.5. Again, he was in the 50th percentile for weight, height, and head circumference. He has had a cold that has gotten progressively worse since his last visit. We have been doing everything they told us to do: saline drops, propping his mattress up, humidifier. He will seem better one day but worse the next. The doctor checked out his ears and said that his right ear didn't look too great, so we're going to start him on some antibiotics to try and clear it up. Hopefully, once we get this cleared up, he will start sleeping better. He got 2 shots. I couldn't watch. Glenn was there so he helped during that part. The nurse said that the first shot wouldn't hurt but it would just make him mad. But she told us the second shot was going to hurt him because of all the medicine in it. He screamed. I mean he took screaming to a whole new level! Thankfully the car ride home lulled him to sleep, so hopefully he'll feel better when he wakes up. Other than the cold, the doctor said he looks good and healthy.
